I'm a huge, and I mean HUGE fan of Hilarie's. In February, I found out that there was going to be a charity game in March in Wilminton and for 2 weeks straight I begged my father to let me go. Finally he agreed. March 22nd, I got on a plane for 3 hours to New Jersey then rode for 16 hours on a plane down to Fayetteville then rented a car and drove for another 2 hours to Wilmington. March 23rd, I walked around Wilmington and I came upon a dandelion. I picked it up and wished to see Hilarie Burton that day. Well 5 minutes later, I ran into this guy who told me where they were filming! :] I couldn't breathe. So my dad and I went to the rivercourt. I couldn't talk, I couldn't breathe. I stood for 3 hours waiting and hoping to see Hilarie and finally, Hil ran across the rivercourt. I stopped breathing for about two minutes. My heart would not stop beating. I watched them film until 11 pm. It was a dream come true. 3/24/07 I woke up at 4:30 the next day and got to the center at about 5. I waited and stood for 5 hours. Finally, the doors opened and I sat. I kept watching and waiting for Hil to show up. Finally she did. All I could do was scream at the top of my lungs. After the game, my dad and I got on line. Within 20 minutes, I was greeted by Hil. I couldn't say anything. My throat went dry. I was about to cry but I told myself to be strong. She smiled and signed my tshirt. It was the best day ever. I love Hil!

I met Hilarie on October 31,2006 (aka Halloween) I was an extra for the state championship game at the RBC center in Raleigh, NC. She was so nice and very funny she gave everyone hugs and cuddled with her husband who worked in the crew. She loved the kid extras and let them meet other stars, they showed her their craft kits they brought to past the time and her words were "this is so COOL!". She was very down to earth and even came into the stands to give a kid a hug which made everyone very jealous. It was so much fun and I am now addictied to OTH.

I met Hilarie at the signing for the second soundtrack. It was at F.Y.E in Hanover, MD at Arundel Mills Mall. She was beautiful! I was so nervous to say anything, that all I said was "I see your hand is better now (Since she had cut it)!" I was paying attention to her so much I didn't even notice Tyler was signing the soundtrack CD instead of on his CD, which I wanted him to do b/c he's awesome too. Gah! It was incredible meeting her! I hope to do it again sometime. I love her!

April 2, 2006
I met Hilarie at the charity basketball game in Wilmington on April 2, 2006. I was especially nervous about meeting her because she had always been my favorite actress. She first gets there and everyone goes CRAZY! She waves then goes to change into her ravens cheerleader shirt. She came back out and she had so much energy you could already tell. She went up in the actor seciton and hugged and kissed a bunch of people (on the cheek, not trying to start rumors here!). Then she hugged James hi and sat in Paul's lap. At one point the other team was shooting a foul shot and under the goal there's Hilarie holding a mask of Paul's face on a stick jumping up and down to try to distract them. It was HILARIOUS! Then she went over to Paul when they made it and was like "sorry, i tried, i even did the big shoulders!" Then during the half she was selling raffle tickets to the fans, and from the minute i walked over to her til the minute i left i was laughing. She goes "you guys don't tell this but James used to be mega good at jump shots but he got too strong so he can't even lift his arms anymore, its so cute!" hah then someone got 20 raffle tickets and she goes "how do you guys get all this money i never have any money i'm broke!" then shes counting them realllyyy fast and she goes "man i might as well speak german" and starts counting in German. Then she said "are you guys having fun?" in the cutest voice "because im having fun but its not worth it if yall arnt" So then the game started again and she was still in the best mood, Paul had her do some announcing from the mic and she goes "Coach i dont know if you know this but i play a cheerleader on TV, thats not real life.. but i'll atempt it.. ok so theres a time out on the court im being told" and mark grabs the mic and is like "no theres not thats enough out of you" haha it was funny. So then it's our turn to meet her inline and i put down a picture of she and sophia dancing and cracking up and shes like "oh man here i am doing somethings crazy thats all i do" and i said "haha yeah there were some funny pictures on there" and she goes "thats mee!" it was funny then i asked her for a picture and she goes "sure babe" and we took it and my friend put a pic of her down and she gave us a story about how her boyfriend gave her that necklace for her birthday.. then they took a pic then my other friend put her pic down and hilarie's like "oh man i havent showerd in this picture, thats my get out of bed and go look, its the way to be" and i said thank you so much and she was like "anytime" she was so sweet. By far the nicest celebrity i've ever met, she had so much spirit and you could tell the crew and cast there had a huge liking for her, she was just so warm.. so for all you hilarie skeptics out there.. she's AMAZING.

Christmas 2003
I went to school with Hilarie. Last time I saw her was Christmas of 2003, we all sat around the kitchen table talking about Hilarie's success and the times at Park View. She is the most personable, sweetest girl I know. And we both agree that Angelina Jolie is HOT!!! Rock on Hilarie, we love you!!

I met Hilarie at the FYE signing. She was just the nicest person I've ever met. She shook my hand and introduced herself. For a second all I could think was "Oh My God Hilarie is shaking my hand!!" Then after that second passed I told her that I loved the show and how she was my favorite on the show. Then my mouth began to work without my brain and I told her that I loved her so much. She thanked me and told me that I rocked and that she loved me too! I was so happy! She is soooooo nice! The rest of the cast was nice too. Like Sophia and Chad, who I actually had a like five minute conversation with. Sophia slowed the line down and started talking to me and then Chad came into the convo. It was unbelieveable! That was the best day of my entire life and the best part of it was without a doubt meeting Hilarie Burton. I really want to meet her again!

OMG!!! The day of the FYE Signing I made my Lil brother go to FYE and get me a wristband @ 8:30 in the morning because I babysit my Lil sister in the morning for my Mom. So I would of never gotten one myself...(TY Richie!!!) Anyways, I finally got to FYE and waited in line forever. BUT it was totally worth it, I saw the performance that Tyler Hilton did--He was awesome!!! Then we waited in a line again to met the cast, I was so0o0o0o0o nervous. I finally got up there and Hilarie was the first at the table to sign. When I got up to the table she got up and said "Hi I'm Hilarie" and she shook my hand. I lost it I started to cry (Don’t know Why just did!!! LOL). She saw that I started to cry and she said "Don’t cry" and gave me a hug and wiped the tears off my face. Then it was Bethany, Tyler, James, Sophia & Chad. They were all so sweet and nice. They all gave me hugs, I just lost it. When I got up to James he gave me a hug and I said to him "Thank you," he said "For when" and I told him that the last time you guys were at TRL you were the only one from the cast to stop and sign my poster. I just wanted to tell you that meant a lot to me!!! And he said "Awww your welcome sweetie." :o) That was just the best experience, I would do it all over again.

I met Hilarie a week a go at the DVD signing for One Tree Hill. My sister is 14 and she loves the show so so so much and she took me along. We waited out side in the freazing cold but it was good because we got to meet the cast. My sister was screaming and I was exited because I know that they are famous. So I asked for Hilarie's autograph because she seemed to be the nicest one. Chad Michael Murray was funny and Sophia Bush was nice. But Hilarie was really really funny! So she took a picture with me and told me I was cute. That was pretty much it but then Chad came winked at me. it was really fun!

I met Hilarie a few days ago at the pizza place in Wilmington. I was with my boyfriend and I saw her walk by our table. I wasn't going to go all nuts because it's pretty much an every day thing to see the One Tree Hill cast hanging out and normal places like this pizza place. I had never actually seen Hilarie, Chad or Sophia before. It was really awesome. There were a whole bunch of like 13 year old girls rushing up to them asking for their autographs and pictures. I didn't do that though. I felt uncomfotable, I mean, I don't really know them, I just love their show. Anyways, my boyfriend and I were just about to pay the bill when someone came up to me. It was Hilarie! I was like, "Uh... Hi!" She told me that she loved my purse and wanted to know where I got it. I told her and then I felt kind of akward so I just told her how awesome OTH is and how much I love it. My boyfriend doesn't watch the show so he was a bit confused. Anyways, she introduced me to the cast (Chad and Sophia were there). They were really nice and laid back. They invited me to come and watch an episode being filmed. I'm really excited! It's this week! Chad and Sophia are also so cute together. They were like making out the whole time though while I was at my table. I thought it must have been uncomfotable for Hilarie but there was this other guy there who joined them later. It either was her boyfriend or brother. They weren't kissing but they hugged so I don't really know. Anyways, it was an awesome experience. Hopefully after I watch the episode being filmed I'll have more to write about!

I live in San Diego, California but this Christmas break my family went to North Carolina. We pretty much traveled all over North Carolina but we spent 3 days in Wilmington, where One Tree Hill is shot. I was disappointed because I know that One Tree Hill is currently on their winter "hiatus" and so I wouldn't get to catch an episode being filmed, and the cast was probably somewhere else. Well, I was lucky because 2 days ago, on December 27th, I was going shopping with my older sister (who also loves One Tree Hill but not as much as I do) and I saw this girl with curly blonde hair. I was like to my sister, "That's EXACTLY how I want MY hair to look!" She turned around and I almost died! It was Hilarie Burton! It was so awesome seeing her there. I wanted to play it to cool so my sister and I walked up to her and told her how much we loved her show (I did most of the talking) and how it made you look forward to Tuesday nights. You could tell she was really really pleased by our feelings on One Tree Hill and she gave us a huge hug. She stated talking to us and told us where some of the nice stores were. She said that she really had no plans until later that night so she came shopping with us. She's got amazing taste, well, obviously! I got some really cute clothes. I guess she realized just how much we loved One Tree Hill so she offered to introduce us to some of the cast. We got to meet Chad Michael Murray (so gorgeous), Sophia Bush and James. James was so sweet! Not the tough guy I was expecting. He told me I was hot! It was awesome but like what do you say to that when someone so beautiful tells you that you're hot. Sophia was extremely bubbly and outgoing and she loved to hear how much we enjoyed the show. Chad is hilarious. He is all in all a really nice guy. Not stuck up like you'd expect. And Hilarie, well, she's just dynamite. She's got a great personality and is just fun to be around. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Bethany but it was just awesome. I got home today and told all my friends. None of them beleive me but I can't wait until I show them all the pictures we took! They won't believe it. Well, it was an amazing experience for me and I loved North Carolina!

I went to high school with Hilarie like Evelynne did, and worked on a few shows with her. The one I remember the most was Into the Woods, she was the Witch and I was assistant director. She was such a wonderful actor, sometimes they get a little annoying or break something, but she knew her way around in the dark. I graduated a year before, but unlike most of the other girls that were cheerleaders at Park View, she was incredibly kind, funny and giving. She showed us drama geeks ten times more respect than any other cheerleader did, and in high school that's saying something. She has always been a stand out individual. If I had to pick one person out of that school to make it big and deserve it, she would be it. Kind of surreal though to see people make websites about someone you knew way back when.

This was my second time talking to Hilarie, and she was still as much of a sweetheart as the last time. The second time I encountered Hilarie was on the set of One Tree Hill. My mom, dad, and me were working as extras for the day, and Hilarie just happened to be there. When you work as an extra, you're really not supposed to talk to the actors or actresses, but I just had to say hi and see if she remembered me from when she was filming "Our Very Own" in Tennessee. My mom, dad, and I approached Hilarie while filming had stopped for a few minutes. When we finally got to her, we asked her if she "remembered us from Tennessee." She said, "Oh yeah! You made it!" At that point I think she hugged me, but that part was a little fuzzy, after finding out she remembered who we were. lol Filming then started back again, and let me tell you, working as an extra is some hard work! It's a lot of doing the same thing over ten million times. Oh wait...were was I...oh yeah, filming commenced....and I looked over at Hilarie while she was getting her make-up done. She saw me, and smiled. I also returned the favor. Later on that day, while we had another break. I got to talk to her again. I took out a picture of me and her, and asked if she could sign it? She said sure, and while she was, my dad asked if she would be back to Tennessee for the premiere of "Our very Own"? She said probably. When she finished writing, she showed one of the crew members what she had done over the summer by showing him the picture. Then I said thank you, and the filming went on. But right before it had started, one of the P.A's came over and yelled at us for talking to her, but it was well worth it. Finally, we finished filming and went back to eat and fill out our vouchers so we could get paid. Even though we got yelled at for talking to Hilarie, I'm glad I got to see her again. Hopefully the next time I see, which will hopefully be when "Our Very Own" premieres I won't get yelled at. Until next time....I'm out.

At TRL in miami, the day before the VMA's I went down to watch it, though I didn't have tickes. I waited outside and Hilarie comes walking out and I started crying!! I told her I was such a big fan and that One Tree Hill has changed my life. And she thanked me for being a fan and hugged me, and told me not to cry! She was in shock I was crying!! I took a picture with her and hugged her again. IT was amazing! Hilarie is AWESOME i love her!!!

Not too long after I started college in September 2002, I went to TRL to see LL Cool J through the window and take photos of him either that month or the following month. While I was downstairs, Hilarie came down to count down a few of the top 10 requested vids. That was like my first time ever meeting her. Yet, she's the first VJ I ever shook hands with. In fact, personally, I think that TRL got a little more fan friendly when Hilarie started coming downstairs to broadcast w/ the outside crowd in the background, cause before, it was a little more difficult to be on TRL outside of the studio; you needed to have a good shout-out in order to be on TRL back then! Now that I've had enough TV time; I'm really not too crazy for being on TV. Anyway, I got to stand near her cause from what Hil said, w/o anyone standing around her around her height on camera, she looks like an amazon! I agreed. We are about 5'9", the same height. That makes Hil the tallest female VJ on TRL!
Anyway, the next time I remember seeing Hilarie in person is when Alyson Hannigan came downstairs to broadcast along w/ Hil back in October '02. They're both as sweet as their looks. Yet, I got my first autograph from an actress, courtesy of Alyson Hannigan. When I got my photo of Hil and Alyson developed, they look nice in their photo together; y'all should see it. Note: See Ron's pics in the gallery! =) Well, the next time I saw Hil was in Spring 2003, when she was broadcasting outside w/ the outside crowd again. It was chilly outside; she was complaining about it, too. I told Hilarie: "I'm sure it's warmer in Virginia, since it's further south from NY, right?" Hilarie answered: "Of course it's much f'n warmer in Virginia, you kidding me?!" Wow. Anyway, a minute or two later, I asked for her autograph. She asked my name and I told her. That was my first-ever autograph from an MTV VJ.
Well, the next time I saw Hil was when Jim Carrey was in the studio promoting "Bruce Almighty" on Monday, May 19, 2003. Once again, she was broadcasting outside. That day, she straightened her hair. When she was live on TV, I actually got to stand right next to her! The only thing bad about it is that I didn't have my VCR recording @ home!! Oh well... Getting back, after that, I showed her my photos of her from the day Alyson Hannigan was there. She said: "Wow, I don't even remember this; I don't even remember working here!" Geez. Well, I had one of my photos of her signed, then I got @ photo w/ her. Next, I said: "Hilarie, please count me in for next year's Spring Break!" I can't remember everything she said, but I do remember her saying that it's like too early for consideration or something like that, yet they didn't know where they were gonna do Spring Break at. Thanks for trying, anyway; maybe another time.
Getting back, the next time I saw Hil was around late February-early March 2004, when Jessica Simpson came by. Hil was broadcasting downstairs along w/ Lala. I showed Hil my photo of us and she remembered me that time, as well as that day, altogether. I said hi to La, too. Well, when Hil and La were going upstairs, I said bye to Hil and held out my hand. When she saw me, instead of giving me a handshake, she came over to me and gave me a hug! More than I expected!
Anyway, the next time I saw her was when the "Stasky and Hutch" cast was there. I saw her through the window w/ Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller, in which she was interviewing. Well, the last time I saw her was when she was exiting MTV studios. When she saw me, she smiled @ me. When she got out of the revolving door, I came over to her and told her: "I almost forgot it was you!" She responded: "It is me! How are you?!" Then I gave her a hug and kissed her on the cheek, kinda like she did when Jessica Simpson was @ TRL. She laughed. After that, she took a few photos w/ some other fans, then left. Yep, it's been quite a ride. Yet, I'm glad to get to know her a little bit when she was just a VJ; I never knew that she'd become an actress, esp. that soon. Well, even though she's still working for MTV and TRL, she's kinda untouchable now; I can hardly catch her and get a word w/ her like I used to! Well, like I said, she still works there, and I'm over @ TRL often, so we should be running into each other soon. Hopefully, she'll still remember who I am.
On Friday, December 3, 2004, not only did I not expect Lindsay Lohan to drop by, I never expected Hilarie to be there to VJ! She did good as always. Well, not too long after the end of the show, I saw Hil leaving the studio. I called her name and she greeted me with a smile and all; I shook her hand as well as kissed it. She was in a hurry cause he had to catch a flight, but she said that she's @ MTV every Friday now. Before she went, I asked if she'll remember me. She answered: "Of course; you've been coming around here for years!" I said "Yeah!" with a laugh, then went our seperate ways. That really made my day right there!

August 2003
The first time I met Hilarie was the very first time I was an extra on One Tree Hill. It was Chad's birthday, and after lunch I was told I wouldn't be used in the next couple scenes because the shirt I had worn was so bright and vibrant that they could see me too well in the previous shots and I couldn't be in two places at once. I was the only extra with that problem, So I sat at one end of the bleachers with all the inflatable dummy's while everyone else moved to the opposite end. I was watching the crew doing their jobs and the actors walking around. The cheerleaders were sitting right on the floor in front of me about ten feet away. Well one of the crew members came to change a light's angle or something and they had to move out of the way for the equipment that raises him up. So they came and sat on the bleachers right below me. Hilarie and Sophia were there, and Hilarie was talking about her boyfriend and about Soap Opera extras being intense. Then Sophia happened to glance over her shoulder and saw me and was startled, she'd thought I was one of the inflatables at first. She was like "I'm so sorry. You scared me!" and was giggling. I was laughing too. Then they took a break to move the cameras around and Chad, James and Bryan came over to hang out with them and Chad and James were making fun of Hilarie's dancing from when they'd all gone out the night before. Meanwhile Bryan had sat right in front of me, and by now it was around 8:30/9:00pm. He turned around and was like "Hi, I'm Bryan. Having fun?" and we joke around about it not being to bad work but long. And he said something about there being other things we could be doing, and I was like "Yeah, sleeping." At this point we were all about ready to drop. Some of the body doubles and other basketball players were sleeping on the very top of the bleachers on the opposite side of the gym even heh. Anyway. Then Chad was talking about the injury he'd had earlier, he'd bumped his knee on the floor when he fell and the vein popped out. and he was like "Let me show you," and took off the band-aid. All the girls kind of recoiled and were like "ew" then Hilarie leans forward and goes "Lemme see!" and Sophia leaned forward, and then the rest of us girls leaned forward. More "ews" from us. And I was like "Some birthday huh?" and he looked up and was like "Yeah." Then the boys left, and the extras went out for air but the girls and I stayed. When the extras came back Lee Norris came through with his fake mike and stopped in front of us and sat down and was talking to Hilarie about stuff. I wasn't really paying attention. I knew he looked familiar but I wasn't sure where from. Anyway, I was too busy watching the other guys on the opposite side of the gym. Then I heard Hilarie saying something about seeing Danielle and Ryder over the summer and I snapped my head over and was like "Oh my god! THAT'S where I know you from! I KNEW you looked familiar." A couple minutes later the cheerleaders got called away to film a scene. A couple of weeks later I was an extra again, but it was a smaller group of extras and we got to eat lunch right of the craft services truck with the actors, and Hilarie was there, and when I got into the building we were eating lunch in all the tables were taken except 2 seats at hers. So I went over and asked them if I could sit down, it was her, a friend of hers who was visiting, or maybe her brother. I can't really remember now, a crew member, and a P.A. They said go ahead. So I sat down and listened as Hilarie cracked jokes and then she went to leave and I was like "Bye, and oh, I saw your halloween costume for TRL, I love that song." She had dressed as one of the Lovehaters from Outkast's Hey Ya! video. She was like "Thanks, Andre's my boi!" heh. I also talked to her briefly at the football game. Just saying hi when she was collecting donations and stuff. And uh, that's it.

I met Hilarie on my birthday! My dad and I went to the set of OVO, and we hung around to watch them film while we waited on Hilarie. While we waited, I got to meet Jason Ritter (An awesome person, who is such a sweetheart.), and I got his autograph and some pictures with him. Finally, Hilarie came, and I mether. She was soooooo sweet!!!! I had drew a picture of a panda for her, and she loved it! I got her autograph, in which she wrote "Happy Birthday! I love my drawing. xoxo: Hilarie." Then I got some pictures with her, and we talked. It was sooooo cool! I will never forget her or Jason. Oh, and I told her she was my favorite on One Tree Hill, and she said she was going to tell Chad! LOL! :D And that was my fan encounter with Hilarie!

This is my 2nd encounter that I'm posting. I met Hilarie today (May 19, 2004). I also met Sophia. Hilarie came out of the hotel first and I asked if she could sign my poster and she said yeah of course. So she asked me my name and she said "I'm Hilarie, it's nice to meet you" and shook my hand. She then signed my poster and she took a picture with me. She was standing outside for about 20 minutes waiting for a car but she decided to walk.

I met Hilarie on March 19, April 3 and 4, 2004.
Well On March 19, I met Hilarie at the Charity football game in Wilmington. Hilarie got there with her hand full of stuff to decorate. As soon as she got there, she said hey to all the cast members, and started off to decorate the bleachers. She got up there and put up this "Go Dunkees" banner on the fence. She drew the donkey in that banner. We asked if we could get a pic with her and she said "yea as soon as I'm done decorating for my team" we were like ok. So then her team started to get into a huddle, and I saw that Hil was still decorating, So me and my friends went up there to ask her if she needed any help and she said "no I think were good.... But I do need someone to be on Lei Patrol" and I was like "I will!" and shes like "ok Follow me" and we go down and she hands me a box of Lei's and I pass them out to the crowd. Then she passes out more stuff like Blue hats and pom pom props from the set lol. I remember Sophia going "Hey!! That's not Fair!! Those are props from the set" lol. Then Hilarie Finally got pics w/ us and she signed my poster saying "Go Dunkees <3 Hilarie Burton. Then Hil started to cheer her team on using a big megaphone and saying crazy cheers in them. She was so intothe game. Me n my friends talked to her for almost the whole game, she's so cool! After 2 mins of talking w/ her I forgot that she was a celebrity and was just talking to her like she was a friend. Oh yea, I was like "hey hil, can you talk to my friend on the phone?" and she goes "Sure and grabs my phone" and the first thing she says is "Where the hell are you??" and we all start laughing. And she told my friend she was missing out and to cheer for her Boyfriends team. Anyways.. I met her again when I was an extra on One Tree Hill (April 3-4) and we coincidentally got sat beside the cheerleaders and Hilarie looks up and goes "hey aren't you the girls that helped me out at the game" and we were like "yea!" and my friend Stephanie hadn't met her before and she said "Hey I'm the girl that talked to you on the phone" and Hilarie goes "oh yea, nice to meet you" and shook her hand. Steph said she had a very firm Handshake. And that was it really, we just gave her a hug every time we saw her. It was just really cool that she remembered us :)

I met Hilarie at Planet Hollywood with the cast of One Tree Hill. I was walking by TRL and I saw 2 limos on the side so I knew it had to before them. So I waited for them to come out as did other girls. Chad Michael Murray, James Lafferty, and Sophia Bush just walked straight to their limo. Bethany Joie Lenz came straight over to where I was and she gave out a whole pack of gum and she signed an autograph for me. She's very pretty. I didn't notice Hilarie or Bryan Greenberg because I was so busy meeting Bethany. So then I went straight over to Planet Hollywood which was right across the street and I waited for the cast to come. So then I see the limo coming and I am the only one waiting outside since everyone else is inside. James came out first and I asked him if I could take a picture with him and he said “Sure”. He leaned in real close to me with that cute smile of his and he posed for the picture with me. He is my absolute favorite of the show. The next one to come out was Bethany. I asked her if I could get a pic with her and she said “Of course”. She took the pic with me and then she asked me what my name was and I told her. She said “It's nice to meet you”. I then told her that I loved her in Bring It On Again and she thanked me. Then Chad came out and I got so nervous being that he is standing right there and he's really gorgeous. I asked him if he could sign my Freaky Friday DVD and he said “Sure, what’s your name?” and he signed the autograph, “To Ann Best Wishes, Chad Michael Murray”. Then I asked him if I could get a picture with him and he said “Yeah”. The camera doesn't go off and I realized that I forgot to rewind it since it was a disposable one. So then he handed it to Sophia and she took the pic. I then thanked him and I asked Sophia if I could get a pic with her and she said “Yeahof course you can”. I handed the bodyguard the camera and I got the pic with her. I missed Hilarie and Bryan again. I then went inside and I waited in this unorganized line because they had Gavin DeGraw perform first when they should have had it after because everything got messed up. He sang 3 songs which were fantastic. I love “I Don't Wanna” which is the theme song for OTH. After about an hour of waiting, I finally got up to the signing and first was Gavin who was very sweet. He shook my hand and asked for my name and he said “It's nice to meet you”. He then signed his photo. Then James was next and he shook my hand and asked my name and said “Hi I'm James, It's nice to meet you”. Next was Bethany, she said “Hi I'm Bethany, it's very nice to meet you” and shook my hand. She told me she loved my curls. I thanked her. She looked very beautiful with the curly hair, I like her with straight too. Next was Hilarie. Hilarie said, “Hi I'm Hilarie, it's nice to meet you” and shook my hand. Then it was Bryan who said “Hi I'm Bryan, it's nice to meet you”. Then next was Sophia, she shook my hand and said “It'snice to meet you”. Then last but not least was Chad. He shook my hand and didn't say much. Then the publicist gave me the signed photo that they had already signed there. I guess they thought it would be faster if it was already signed. Then the cast took a bathroom break. The signing was over and I waited for the cast to leave and my friend got a pic with Chad and Sophia in the same pic. He also got James, and Bethany. I wish I could have met Hilarie like the rest of the cast. I'm sure I'll get to meet her the next time.

Well, I first got out of school, and afterward came home to change to go to Times Square. So, when we were ready at about 3:00pm, my sister, my brother and I went on a train from where we live (in Queens) to Manhattan. We got there at about 3:20pm. Since it was about an hour and 40 minutes away from the actual live showing of TRL, we decided to look around the stores of Times Square. We went to Toys R Us for a while, and afterward at about 4:00pm, we left, and saw that Hilarie Burton was sitting in her chair right there in the TRL studio. I hadn't noticed at first, since we were across the street at Foot Locker.  Anyway, we rushed to the other street before the police man had closed the barricades for the whole crowd. Before he did, my siblings and I quickly sneaked in the crowd without getting caught! We saw a bunch of die hard fans (which were mostly girls) standing in front of the studio. It surprised me because I didn't think the show was very popular at the time.. So we waited in the blistering cold, but about 20 minutes after waiting, a white stretch hummer passed by the back of all of the crowd, and every girl in there starting to scream as loud as they possibly could! Joy Lenz and Sophia Bush stuck their heads out of the hood of the car and waved at the crowd, and I was literally about 5-6 feet away from them! I was pretty star struck, therefore I didn't take pictures at that time, which I was pretty disappointed about. Well after the hummer had gone to the other end of the street waiting for the red light to change, Chad Michael Murray and James Lafferty had stuck their heads out of the the hood of the car. There, I saw that James Lafferty had a camera, recording the crowd. I thought that was pretty cool, taping his first TRL experience and all. Anyway, I luckily got to take a picture of them.. and while I was taking the picture, there were many girls rushing to the hummer before the light changed. It made me laugh, but I didn't leave the crowd, because my spot there would have been filled with other girls. So, I stayed. Well, we waited which seemed to be forever (maybe because it was pretty chilly).. till 5:00pm, and that's when the camera started rolling. It took many shots of the crowd, but unfortunately since I was in back of these girls with a poster that read "Call Us Up James" my face was unable to be seen on television (I know this because I saw the TRL taping on my computer). But anyway, the cast had not come out right away, since there was a guest that came out before them. Not too late into the show, the crowd was desperate to see the cast; chanting "We want Chad" and "We want James". At that time, I think the cast was in the green room, which we could see from the window as well, but on the other side of the street. Everyone was there except for Hilarie Burton of course, since she was already hosting the show. A couple of minutes later, we saw Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton looking at us, the crowd! Every girl would shout so loud I thought I'd go deaf! That was when I took some pictures, but it was really difficult because the girls with the posters that were in front of me would jump up and down, making it uneasy for me to see the face of Chad and Hilarie. But I luckily did get to take pictures of them which came out okay. While we waited for the cast to look out the window, tourists would wonder what was going on, and just take pictures of the studio from the streets. The policemen would yell at them saying it was prohibited for them to stand there, but the tourists seemed not to care. I swear, there were about 10 adults who asked me "Who's up there? Who's up there?". It was pretty funny, actually.. Well a little bit after, James Lafferty, Joy Lenz, and once again Hilarie Burton turned to us, the audience, to greet us. They looked so happy to be on TRL, and it just seemed really cool to be there sharing the same feelings. Later on I could see Joy Lenz and Sophia Bush sitting on chairs from the window.. but I didn't have any clue why, since I obviously was not watching TRL at the time. But I figured they were probably playing a game or something. Well, I guess the cast had said their good-byes after what I thought was a "game", since the actors didn't come to the window anymore... But another thing I found funny was that at about 5:50pm, the girls in the front of the crowd rushed to the other side of the block.. I didn't have any idea why. The crowd had became empty and the show hadn't even ended and the crowd was gone! Then I heard a girl say that the cast was leaving in the hummer. So I rushed to the other end where I saw Chad Murray say good-bye to the crowd in the hummer. I think he signed a few autographs.. but there were tons of girls there so I could hardly see anything. The hummer quickly left and trying to keep up with it, many girls failed to do so. Afterwards, I came home, thrilled and happy to see the stars. Overall, it was very fun for me to go to Times Square, even if I didn't get to meet them. I'm really glad I went, it was worth it all, and it was a great experience too!

I went to high school with her and she was in my graduating class. You could tell when you watched her in a play that she was going to make it big, she had the passion and the energy. I'm just glad that she is finally living her dream and that it's going so well for her. Congrats Hilarie wish you the best of luck..... but seems like you already have plenty of that!!
