On my summer vacation: "I shot a movie called Our Very Own. It's playing at festivals now. It was great to be the chick who's drinking Boones Farm and throwing bottles at train cars instead of moody, broody Peyton Sawyer. I got to be the rowdy girl and it's a little more of who I am at this point in my life. I am definitely not somber."

On being a faux teenager: "It can mess with your head. One day, they handed me a driver's license for something we were shooting on One Tree Hill and they put my birthdate, July 1st 1988 and I was like, Oh my gawd. I have three younger brothers and the youngest of them all was born in '88. I hope I can pull it off. I look young right? Tell me I look young! No, seriously, it's fun to play immature and dramatic. I have the whole rest of my life to be serious."

On the love of her OTH life: "Jake left me for bigger and better women! Seriously, can I just tell you this, Brian Greenberg (who portrays Jake) is going to be a huge movie star. He's got [Unscripted] on HBO and he's just about to come out in a movie with like Meryl Streep and Uma Thurman. It is huge! And it's okay because I someday he will come back for me."

On beautiful boyfriends: "I am super in love. He gave me a ring in the shape of a coffin, seriously! It's a great old, art deco piece and I love it. He is good. Boys who buy you jewels are good."

On her weird reading habits: "Every summer, I read The Bell Jar. You have to. It's the typical bitchy girl bible. I also happen to like reading the old sci fi pulp magazine writers and I like anything with monsters."
